Product Papilio3 DC V2X Fast Hub
Contruction Ringbeam structure supported on 2x pod structures (plant and battery), made from re-fabricated shipping containers.
Space 12x 2.5 x 5 m bays configured as 6 x 2 bay arrangement (occupying footprint of 7 x 2 bays).​
Grid Connection 400A (max) 3P+N+E, with maximum import and export capacity of 240kW / 300kVA. It is a key project objective to test and optimise current limitation in the range of 100 to 250A for smaller connections.​
Vehicle Charging 12x 30kW bi-directional DC vehicle connectors (CCS2 and CHAdeMO for each bay).​
Cable management 800mm cable management arm with 90° swing for double cable arrangements, 4.5m (approx.) usable cable length.​
Solar generation 20kWp solar PV canopy (formed from 42 modules), with Maximum Power Point Tracking System.​
Battery storage Installed 280kWh (nominal) lithium-ion battery energy storage system from UK supplier Fellten, comprised 4x 70 kWh modules. Unit capacity for additional 280kWh storage.​
Internal connection DC micro-grid system with DC:DC conversion and protection at input and output interfaces.​
Control system 3ti “3tiG” control system, OCPP, multi-tiered load control​
