We all believe that bi-directional charging is a very important part of our energy future, and we aren’t inclined to sit on the sidelines watching to see what happens.

Innovate UK - Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation, is the UK’s innovation agency. Their mission is to help companies to grow through their development and commercialisation of new products, processes and services, supported by an outstanding innovation ecosystem that is agile, inclusive and easy to navigate. The Papilio3 V2X Fast Hub is an adapted version of our award-winning Papilio3 unit, funded by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, delivered by Innovate UK.

3ti Energy Hubs - we’re the lead and specialise in Solar, Storage and EV charging - develop the Papilio3, Energy Management Systems, and DC Battery.

Turbo Power Systems - Newcastle-based power systems company who deliver systems into the national grid, rail industry, and similar “big infra” projects - they provide the DC charge point and micro-grid electronics.

Grid Beyond - provide grid service integration for when to activate V2X - they’re an Irish-based international grid services provider who operate for us like an aggregator.

Cenex - is running the trial and supplying the vehicles - they’re a not-for-profit academic organisation specialise in R&D projects like this trial programme
